About Microbiome Superhero

A microbiome is a collection of germs or microbes that reside in any given environment. Germs have been part of our lives and have co-evolved with our bodies. However, we are only now beginning to recognize the importance of what they do in our body and how they impact our physical health and mental wellbeing.

Scientific Brain behind Microbiome Superhero

My journey into gut health did not begin with a business plan. It began with a quiet, persistent question that stayed with me for most of my life:

“Why do some people remain healthy and resilient, while others develop chronic illness despite doing everything they are told is right?”

As a child, I was not what most people would consider healthy. I struggled with frequent infections, poor weight gain, skin issues, low energy, migraine, dizziness, anemia. These problems were treated in the conventional way-with medications, antibiotics, and supplements. Sometimes they helped temporarily, but the problems always seemed to return in another form. There was no lasting resolution, only countless rounds of antibiotics and supplements.

MY STORY

I have always been an engineer at heart.

Not just in profession, but in the way I see the world, through systems, patterns, cause and effect. Problems, to me, were never dead ends. They were simply puzzles waiting to be taken apart, examined, and rebuilt into something better. Logic and reasoning were my compass, and for the longest time, they guided me well within the familiar terrain of engineering.

But life, as it often does, had a different lesson in store.

Diabetes didn’t arrive dramatically in my family. It crept in quietly, insidiously, showing up first in one relative on my paternal side, then another, and then another.
